Pink Shares Heartwarming Update About Shelter Puppy She Fostered On Tour
As Pink’s foster dog, Graham Cracker got to go on tour with the pop star. Do you remember him? There’s been an exciting new development in his story ❤️
Award-winning singer was in St. Paul, Minnesota, last month as part of her North American tour. While she was there, she called the local rescue, The Bond Between and asked if she could foster one of their dogs, named Graham Cracker.
FOX 9 says that Graham Cracker’s mother was found alone and fighting to care for her puppies in the woods of Vilonia, Arkansas, by a girl named Autumn. She took her to the shelter.
After the girl tried to take care of the puppies on her own, her mother called Jak’s Second Chance Rescue Ranch, and the dogs were later taken in by The Bond Between. Another brother of Graham Cracker, S’more, has also found a foster home.
Pink planned to bring Graham Cracker on tour with her as a foster child in order to bring attention to him and help find him a forever home. Pink had done that on previous trips. She loves dogs and wants more people to adopt them. The Bond Between loved the thought.
“She’s taking Graham on the adventure of a lifetime with her and her family on tour, with the goal of helping him find his forever home by the end of it!” The Bond Between was announced on social media. “We brought him to her show, and we can already tell she’s falling for him.”
“From a pile of fallen branches to backstage with a Pink, Graham is now getting the love and care he deserves, all while Pink helps us spread the powerful message of fostering and adopting.”
Pink herself broke the news on stage during one of her recent shows, joking that the dog was backstage and “currently peeing all over my dressing room.” “He’s going to go on this big carnival adventure with us,” the “So What” singer told the crowd.
The plan was to find the dog a home by November 20 and have the family pick him up at a concert in Columbia, South Carolina. However, it soon became clear that Pink was becoming attached to the dog. She called Graham Cracker the “sweetest, gentlest boy to ever be born” and raised the possibility of adopting him herself: “We’re probably going to keep him. But this is the idea, so we’ll see where this goes,” she said during a concert.
Weeks later, in a November 19 social media post, Pink shared an update about Graham Cracker. He had officially been adopted by Pink! “It’s official… I am a foster fail!” Pink wrote, joking that she’s “never been happier to fail.”
“Thank you to [The Bond Between] for not only bringing him into our lives, but for all the tireless hard work they do to help rehome all their animals,” she added.
