Man Adopts Homeless And Abandoned Mutt, Only To Realize Her Mix When She Gets Older
More than a million healthy dogs are still put down every year.
There is a glut of unwanted dogs in American shelters, and many of them are euthanized every year. But there are examples of success as well.
A man decided to check out an abandoned puppy for adoption after hearing about her on the news.
He took one glance at her and he was instantly smitten; the adoption papers were signed soon after.
It was a stunning dog, but the man had little luck identifying her breed.
The guy named the fluffy stray cat Phoebe and took her in.
It became immediately apparent that this puppy had an endearing and loving attitude.
”My favorite activities include licking people’s toes, playing ball and playing with other young and highly active dogs! I am a self-admitted belly-rub addict, rolling over for every random passer-by. I also welcome ear scratches and chin rubs,” her owner writes.
There were still many unanswered concerns concerning this canine. The owner claims that Phoebe was rescued from a group of husky mixes living in the woods.
However, her owner was never sure of her breed.
Then he looked at her and knew instantly that she was exceptional.
The new owners of Phoebe soon realised that she was a cross between a Husky and a Golden Retriever.
This designer dog, sometimes called a “Goberian,” is a cross between the calm Golden Retriever and the energetic Siberian Husky.
Don’t feel out of the loop if this is the first time you’ve heard of it. Because, as stated by Animalso, this breed has only appeared in the previous ten years.
It will become more and more obvious as Phoebe ages. She’ll probably resemble this adorable puppy in appearance.
Another dog that is a Husky/Golden Retriever hybrid.
Not quite as soft as Phoebe, but those eyes! Whenever I visit the animal shelter, I’ll be on the lookout for a golden retriever husky mix.
I’m very happy that the lovely Phoebe got a loving family.
If you agree that every dog deserves a loving home, please spread her story.
