Man Yells Into An Empty Field, But Watch Who Comes To Visit
Some people might say otherwise, but I think we all need to accept that animals have feelings at this point. Of course, some more than others, but long gone are the days when we could just call the animals we live with “beasts.”
Animals are able to feel love, loss, fear, and happiness, and every once in a while, pictures or videos will show how in tune they really are.
Darrick Thompson had become very close with the elephants over the years. He was a determined volunteer and co-founder of Elephant Nature Park in Thailand.
The Elephant Nature Park is a safe place for elephants that have been mistreated or neglected while living in captivity. The park has been around since the 1990s and has won many awards for its work with elephants.
The elephants approach
Kham La, one of the elephants in the park, became very close to Darrick. In the touching film below, Darrick calls out to her, and Kham La and her whole family show up right away. The elephants come up to Darrick and are very gentle and trusting. This shows how much respect and friendship Darrick has gained by working hard at Elephant Nature Park for so many years.
As the elephants rush toward Darrick, showing that they believe and love him, the scene is nothing short of magical.
With their wings moving and elephants all around him, trying to protect their best friend, this is pure love. The bond that Darrick has with these magnificent creatures is truly amazing. Over 20,000 pounds of pure love rush toward him, making the scene very moving. It’s a wonderful moment that shows how powerful connections between people and animals can be. It reminds us of how much love and kindness we can share with nature.

All the respect in the world should go to elephants because they are truly amazing animals. When I think about all the elephants that have been hurt in the circus or by tourists, it hurts me. Thank goodness there are places like The Elephant Nature Park that are trying to stop these disgusting habits.
Every elephant that has been abused should get a second chance like Kham Lha did. If you agree, please share this story.
