To Protect Her Horses From The Freezing Weather, A Woman Brings Them Inside The House
Many regions of the United States have seen record-low temperatures in recent days due to an Arctic blast.
Going outside is not appropriate at this time, and leaving your pets outside is also not suitable. Extreme weather like this puts even dogs outside in grave peril.
And one woman did something out of the ordinary to make sure her animals would be comfortable as the temperature dropped below zero.
Kelly Rowley of Niobrara, Nebraska, was worried about her favorite horses on January 13. Although horses typically live outside, she was aware that the area’s below-freezing temperatures might be too much for them.
She therefore took the uncommon step of inviting them inside her home in an attempt to keep them warm and safe!
According to Kelly, who spoke to KTIV, the horses were initially frightened but soon settled in to avoid the cold.
The unexpected yet endearing sight of the horses standing in her living room is captured in photographs.
This week has been frigid in Nebraska, with numerous regions seeing record-low temperatures and frostbite casualties.
Although horses can tolerate temperatures as low as below freezing, it may be wise to provide them with shelter if they are obviously feeling cold.
It goes without saying that during severe weather, domestic animals like dogs and cats should never be left outside.
As many of us cope with this bitterly cold winter, it is crucial to consider the safety and well-being of our animals. The fact that this woman loved her horses enough to keep them inside her home is endearing!
